We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical General Accountant to manage our full cycle accounting process monthly and through year-end ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The General Accountant will also be responsible for the A/P, A/R and fixed asset processes aligned with the full cycle process.
Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries for routine and non-routine transactions
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjustments
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of required documentation
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
Collaborate with other departments and manager to gather financial data and support budgeting efforts
Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and files
Process Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed assets contacting vendors and customers to maintain acceptable DSO and DPO levels.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2-4 years of professional accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
CPA certification or progress toward CPA is a plus

Preferred Attributes:

Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:
