Part Time Accountant Higher Ground Land Services, LLC 816 11th Drive SW, Vero Beach, FL 32962 Job Overview We are seeking a Pleasant, reliable part time accountant with a strong background in accounting principles needed for a small office. Approximately eight to sixteen hours per week. Must be detail oriented and able to work independently. Responsibilities Provide support to the bookkeeper by answering questions and helping with daily transactions when needed. Monthly bank, credit card and loan reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial reports for management. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards Support year end review and tax return preparation. Degree in accounting with related experience. Proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and practices. Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and techniques. Understanding of financial concepts related to private equity is a plus. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
