Accountant (Part-time) Marina Village at Snug Harbor Management Corporation Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931 • Hybrid work Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant. Marina Village is an extremely successful 25 unit time-share resort with a solid staff and 40 year history under our management. You are very experienced with Quick Books Online and Dropbox. Expected time required is 4-5 hours 3 weeks per month with a full day at month end. You will be in charge of the general ledger, bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure all accounts are balanced. Record journal entries for all financial transactions, maintaining thorough documentation. Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as needed. Skills Experience as a clerk or in similar administrative roles is beneficial. Expertise in general ledger reconciliation and journal entries. Proficient in using Quick Books Online and DropBox Ability to prepare detailed financial statements accurately and efficiently. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
