Summary of Position:

The Project Account is responsible for overseeing all finances involved in a project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and maintaining project accounting files.
• Assist in preparation of contract documents.
• Verify the projects that need to be billed and coordinate accurate and timely billing with the Project Manager, according to contract requirements.
• Communicate with Project Managers and track payments for consultants.
• Review, route and post consultant invoices
• Assist in general accounting/administration

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of accounting experience in the construction, architecture or engineering industries
• Job cost entry experience preferred
• Attention to detail, strong time management skills
• Ability to work well on a team
• FDOT and or municipality billing and contract experience a plus
• FDOT Consultant Invoice Transmittal System (CITS) experience a plus AIM Engineering & Surveying, Inc.
