Junior Accountant Position Available In Lee, Florida

Position Summary:

Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant / Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This entry- to mid-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial environment. The position will focus on clerical accounting duties such as A/R, A/P, data entry, and payroll support.

Key Responsibilities:

Process daily Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) transactions Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial information into the ERP system Assist with payroll processing and maintain related records Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries Maintain organized financial records and documentation Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Collaborate with other departments to support ongoing financial operations

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong familiarity with ERP systems (QuickBooks not accepted)

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and data entry skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Willingness to learn and grow in a supportive accounting role

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the oil & gas or industrial manufacturing sectors Exposure to payroll processing and cost accounting
