The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in various accounting software applications. Duties Conduct account reconciliations and prepare financial statements Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Perform balance sheet reconciliations Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records Assist with audits and tax preparation Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA certification is a plus Proficiency in accounting software such as PeopleSoft Knowledge of accrual accounting principles Familiarity with governmental accounting standards Experience in bank reconciliation and private equity accounting Understanding of wills, trusts, and estate law is beneficial Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
