Description Tallahassee-based client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Sr. Accountant to join their growing team. This role will primarily involve overseeing the general ledger reconciliation process, preparing financial reports, and assisting with annual budgets. It’s an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to their ongoing success.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain oversight of the bookkeeping process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct monthly utility accruals and monitor expense variations, alerting stakeholders as necessary.
- Review monthly financial statements, conducting research to clarify preliminary P& L questions.
- Assist in the creation of audit schedules, audited financial statements, and Notes to Financial Statements.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and engage in special projects as needed.
- Manage access (passwords, etc.) for all store accounts, including utilities, cable, equipment leases, and store leases.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports, ensuring data is presented accurately and clearly.
- Perform data analysis as required to support financial decision-making.
- Organize and maintain the digital filing of financial documents on One Drive.
- Provide support to CFO and Treasurer as necessary. Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required
- Responsible for general ledger reconciliation process
- Monthly utility accruals
- Reviews monthly financial statements and researches preliminary P& L questions
- Assists in preparation of yearly audit schedules, audited financial statements and Notes to Financial Statements
- Assist with annual Budgets
- Assist with special projects
- Assist with preparing and distributing financial reports
- Data analysis as needed
