Job Description

Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant Church/School Ocala, FL 34481 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our company’s financial records and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits, and will be proficient in not only Quickbooks and Excel. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Duties Manage all aspects of the company’s accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable. Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately. Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with corporate accounting standards. Understand and apply governmental accounting principles when necessary. Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Generate payroll and tax compliance. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance. Collaborate with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required. Experience Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role in corporate accounting. Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including debits, credits, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. Proficiency in using Quickbooks and Excel. Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial reporting tasks. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
