Job Description:

STS Aviation Group is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst – Accounting Operations to support enterprise-level finance initiatives and process improvements across our global organization. This full-time, hybrid-eligible role is based at our corporate headquarters in Jensen Beach, Florida.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in driving operational excellence across the Corporate Finance function. This position supports cross-functional initiatives, system enhancements, internal reporting, and accounting process optimization. Key Responsibilities:

Provide analytical and project support for finance initiatives across corporate and business unit functions
Design, document, and enhance accounting operations processes (e.g., reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions, fixed assets)
Execute and support accounting system enhancements or ERP implementations
Prepare executive-level summaries, reports, and financial packages
Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as directed by the Corporate Controller, CFO, or senior finance leaders
Collaborate with IT, FP&A, HR, and Tax teams on enterprise-wide initiatives
Assist with audit processes, internal controls, and compliance documentation
Support M&A efforts, including integration, policy alignment, and opening balance sheet setup

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA or MBA strongly preferred)
4-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, public accounting, corporate finance, or financial operations
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting operations best practices
ERP system experience required (Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI, SmartSheets, or Velixo a plus
Proven ability to manage projects, document processes, and communicate across departments
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Role Details:

Full-time, exempt position
Hybrid or remote eligible (with occasional on-site work at HQ in Jensen Beach, Florida)
No direct reports but may lead project-based initiatives
Interaction with external consultants, auditors, and vendors may be required
