Summary:

Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable The staff accountant – AP role is responsible for full cycle accounts payable. They will assist with preparation of financial reports, statements, and other accounting tasks such as preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting payroll. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail , excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices as well as general office practices and procedures. Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports and data, as well as maintain detailed fiscal records and files. Excellent computer skills utilizing accounting software and other Microsoft products are required. Requires excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skills and ability to work as part of a team. Duties include full cycle accounts payable. Processing purchase orders, invoices, and payment request forms for payments. Biweekly payroll, review, prepare and process time reports via ADP.
