Accountant The Professional Source Group, Inc. Miami, FL 33133 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and be adept in managing various accounting tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with relevant regulations. The part-time accountant will work closely with other departments to support financial operations and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate balance sheet and P&L reports. Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections. Conduct financial report writing to present findings and insights to management. Prepare and process accounts payable invoices. Reconcile bank statements. Prepare month credit card reconciliations for various departments. Reconcile donation reports and other excel reports as needed Work with the staff and ministers and leadership team on other accounting projects as needed. Support and assist treasurer with accounting related questions. Prepare reports for trustees and committee members as needed. Requirements Associate in Arts degree is preferred in Accounting or related field. Strong Excel and PC software skills needed. Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably within a non-profit sector is a plus. Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and practices. Excellent written communication skills for effective financial report writing. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial records.
