Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting/Bookkeeping Specialist to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting and be proficient with Procore software. This role is critical to supporting day-to-day financial operations, job costing, invoicing, and ensuring compliance with company and industry financial standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. Process and track project-related expenses, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments. Use Procore to manage financial documentation, cost tracking, and billing for multiple construction projects. Assist with job costing, budget tracking, and monthly financial reporting.
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction industry. Proficiency with Procore is required. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
