Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with established accounting principles. Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure the integrity of financial data. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into variances and trends. Write comprehensive financial reports that summarize findings and recommendations for management review. Ensure compliance with securities law and other regulatory requirements applicable to the organization. Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional development. Manage transactions involving Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) as needed. Utilize accounting software such as Quicken for efficient financial management. Skills Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and general accounting principles. Proficient in account reconciliation processes and techniques. Excellent financial report writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Familiarity with securities law and its implications on financial reporting. Experience in financial accounting practices within various industries. Ability to mentor and guide less experienced staff members effectively. Strong analytical skills for conducting thorough account analysis. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all work.
