Overview Asset management company Headquartered in Miami with operations in North America, Europe and Asia is looking to hire an Accounting Associate to assist in the management of its US activities. Position Description Company is currently seeking an Accounting Associate to work with its Controller on the management of the accounting and finance function for the US business. Position has a strong focus on processing data and analytics to support the accounting process while interacting with all the departments of the company. Role offers exposure to upper management with concrete path to professional growth. Responsibilities Process supplier invoices and organize payments. Day-to-day accounting tasks. Reconciliation of accounts/Bank Reconciliations. Journal entries. Auditing support. Preparation of financial statements. Budgeting assistance. Ad-hoc analysis in support of optimization initiatives. Skills and Qualifications BA in accounting. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting, ideally in an international organization. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of accounting software or general ledger systems. An interest and affinity for systems management is desired. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Confirmed oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively and independently in a small team setting and in a flexible work environment. Commitment to high quality work product demonstrated through intellectual curiosity & sound judgment. Professional English. German a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working in other Microsoft Office products. Prior experience with QuickBooks a plus.
