Fund Accounting Associate Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Description We are recruiting for a Senior Fund Accountant to join our client’s team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will support the client’s fund finance team in various aspects of reconciliation, review and reporting on all fund related matters and related accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for the reconciliation of NAV and monthly reporting
• Support foreign currency and hedging activities
• Manage capital calls and payment distribution
• Conduct ad hoc reporting and review/analysis of global fund finance
• Use Bloomberg Terminal for various accounting functions
• Handle bonds and cash activity in compliance with regulations
• Carry out account reconciliation and cash reconciliations
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Requirements
• Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with a mix of public accounting and fund or private equity accounting
• Proficiency in using Excel – Pivot Tables and V Look Ups
• Demonstrated understanding of accounting functions in the fund industry
• Familiarity with compliance regulations pertaining to funds is necessary.
• In-depth knowledge of NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations and processes is expected.
• Proven experience in account reconciliation is required.
