We’re looking for an experienced Inventory Accountant to join our client’s dynamic team, contributing to the accurate management of inventory processes and journal entries. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed inventory accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies while maintaining accuracy in financial reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory processes and improve operational efficiency. Utilize large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or Workday) to manage data and maintain accurate records. Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met.
What We’re Looking For Experience:
A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in inventory accounting is essential.
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria: Previous experience at a Big 4 consulting firm. Be a CPA . Have experience working for a publicly traded company.
Skillset:
Familiarity with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Sage is crucial, and experience with PeopleSoft is highly preferred.
