Job Summary:

As an Inventory Accountant, you’ll maintain and record business transactions, reconcile accounts, balance ledgers, and prepare critical reports. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will ensure compliance and accuracy in inventory management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile inventory accounts to the general ledger. Monitor inventory transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly. Assist with monthly closing processes and support quarterly/year-end audits. Partner with departments to ensure compliance with company inventory policies. Analyze trends, explain variances, and prepare schedules/reports. Communicate effectively with senior financial management, performing duties with integrity and transparency. Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education :

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or Master’s degree a plus.

Experience & Skills :

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel and Word skills. Experience with database applications (e.g., Visio, Access) preferred. Working knowledge of GL PeopleSoft strongly preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to identify critical issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, able to meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks independently. Familiarity with accounting and financial concepts, with strong reconciliation skills.

Travel :
