Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing project budgets, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring financial accuracy across multiple initiatives. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in accounting who enjoy collaborating with project teams and driving cost efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and adherence to financial goals.
  • Coordinate and manage change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Prepare competitive bids and detailed quotes for project proposals.
  • Handle permit applications and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Process A1A billing requests and ensure timely submissions to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to provide financial insights and updates.
  • Follow up with vendors to confirm supply deliveries and negotiate favorable pricing.
  • Issue purchase orders and maintain organized records of procurement activities.
  • Prepare and process lien release requests as required for project completion.   • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in project-based roles.
  • Proficiency in managing change forms and tracking project adjustments.
  • Experience preparing subcontractor bids and detailed project quotes.
  • Strong ability to reconcile accounts and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Familiarity with expense budgeting and cost control practices.
  • Excellent negotiation skills for vendor and supply management.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with project teams.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
