Job Description
My client is a rapidly growing Real Estate Investment Trust headquartered in the Greater Miami area. This client is seeking a Real Estate Accountant who will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting of a portfolio of real estate assets. Responsibilities Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare and analyze property-level financial statements Ensure accurate recording of property-level transactions Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and sub-ledgers Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting Support annual audits and tax returns Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 2-5 years of relevant experience; real estate or REIT experience required Strong knowledge of GAAP Proficiency in Yardi
