JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and help strengthen our internal processes and financial operations. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of accounting tasks to ensure the efficient and accurate operation of our accounting department. This position requires a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy while meeting deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Posting Bank entries and performing Bank Reconciliations Perform Accounts Receivables Reconciliations Support in preparing payments for approved invoices in a timely manner. Interfaces with appropriate departments to secure proper payment approvals and vendors to resolve discrepancies. Maintains accounting department files and records; prepares 1099s. Prepare analysis of balance sheet accounts as required. Assists with monthly closings, ensures accurate entry of accrued expenses and bank statement reconciliation in a timely manner to meet the Company’s deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in retail or similar industries. Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs. Responsible and good work ethic Must be able to learn other accounting software systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records. Be able to read, write, and speak Italian proficiently
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with inventory and retail accounting. Prior exposure to ERP implementation or process optimization.
