Technical Accountant – Ideal for Big 4 Candidates Public company headquartered in Miami is seeking a Technical Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a recent Big 4 CPA or audit associate looking to transition into industry and gain hands-on experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, and complex transactions. Key Responsibilities Assist with financial reporting in accordance with
GAAP/IFRS
Research and apply complex accounting standards (ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805, etc.) Support the month-end and quarter-end close process Prepare technical memos and documentation for audits and external reporting Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and external auditors Assist in M&A accounting, revenue recognition, and lease accounting Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA certification (or actively pursuing) 1-3 years of experience, preferably in audit or technical accounting at a Big 4 firm Strong understanding of
GAAP, SEC
