Summary The position will be responsible for maintaining the books and records of several partnerships managed by Corient. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Assist in the monthly accounting close process of various partnerships. Collaborate with the accounting team on processing of accounting entries in the general ledger. Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations of cash, and other assets and liabilities. Support General Accounting compliance with Sarbanes Oxley reporting and control requirements and maintain the general ledger business process narratives. Assisting with the identification and implementation of system and process enhancements Assist with year-end audit schedules Ad-hoc analysis and reporting Organized, managing competing priorities, projects, and time with ease Education, Experience & Skills Undergraduate degree in accounting is required 5+ years of experience performing accounting functions is preferred CPA license or Masters degree is a plus Strong analytical skills and strict attention to detail Ability to prioritize several tasks at one time and meet tight deadlines Good communication skills Working knowledge of Excel, MS Office, and Oracle (or other general ledger systems) Up to 20% travel requirement We are an equal opportunity employer.
