Job Description
Purpose of Position:
To process journal entries for month end closings to accurately account for monthly financial results and comply with Company deadlines, as well as assist with financial audits.
Accountabilities:
Assist with processing journal entries for the closing of every month to meet reporting deadlines set by Company. Assist with month and quarterly account reconciliations, analyses and resolution of items in need of investigation or reclassifications. Assist with Fixed Assets system maintenance and reconciliations to properly account for fixed assets, CIP, depreciation, additions, sales, and retirements. Assist with SOX compliance reviews and provide support to internal and external auditors to comply with SOX compliance. Special projects.
Minimum Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Minimum 3 to 4 years prior Accounting and/or Finance experience working in a fast-paced, results oriented environment (full accounting cycle). Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of US GAAP. Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written skills. (Fully fluent in English) Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. •Please note: This position does not qualify for relocation expenses. •
