Senior Accountant Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

We are partnering with a Miami-based client to identify an Accounting professional seeking long-term growth and international career development opportunities. Our client is a privately owned international food distribution company focused on delivering high-quality private label products to retail partners in the U.S. and around the world. The senior accountant will be reporting directly to the Director of Finance and the CFO.

Full time In-office (Miami)

Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks software. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, payroll, accruals, and adjustment entries accurately and promptly. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial reports on a regular basis. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required. Assist with budget preparation and monitoring expenses. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements. Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

5+ years of proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in using QuickBooks software is essential. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under minimal supervision. English and Spanish proficiency is required Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred but not required). Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
