Job Description

TalentoHC is proud to partner with a leading enterprise organization in the search for a Senior Manager, Accounting Operations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing key financial operations, including payment processing, cash management, financial reporting, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to enhance financial systems, drive efficiency, and support organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the accurate and timely execution of all disbursements, including wire transfers, electronic payments, and other financial obligations. Establish, enforce, and continuously improve internal control frameworks to mitigate financial risk, including reconciliation protocols, role segregation, and access management. Lead the implementation and upkeep of financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and optimal functionality. Identify and execute process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs. Analyze financial performance to identify risks, trends, and growth opportunities. Review monthly journal entries related to dispute transactions and ensure accurate ledger maintenance. Oversee balance sheet account reconciliations to support compliance with corporate policies and ensure financial accuracy. Conduct in-depth monthly and quarterly financial reviews, including variance analysis against plans, forecasts, and prior results. Manage external relationships with financial service vendors, such as payment processors and collection agencies. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. Collaborate with departments such as Treasury, Operations, IT, and Digital to align financial strategy and execution. Maintain SOX compliance and drive operational excellence through strong financial governance. Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

A minimum of 7 years’ experience in financial services, with a strong focus on disbursement and payments. Strong grasp of core accounting principles, especially related to cash flow, receivables, and payables, and their impact on financial statements. Demonstrated success in leading complex financial projects and system implementations. Proven ability to analyze data and derive actionable financial insights. Strong leadership background with a track record of team development and mentorship. Experience in cross-departmental collaboration to drive business initiatives. Skilled in vendor and contract negotiations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to perform under pressure.
