Job Description

Staff Accountant We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support and strengthen our accounting operations. This position requires expertise in accounting, bookkeeping, and strong proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational abilities, a strong grasp of accounting principles, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Key Responsibilities Accounting and Financial Management Collaborate with external accounting professionals to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Maintain compliance with all financial regulations, legal standards, and company policies. Prepare financial and sales reports to support management decision-making. Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards. Maintain organized financial records, both electronically and in hard copy. Order Processing Oversee the processing of customer orders, shipping documentation, and delivery schedules. Supervise the order entry clerk and coordinate closely with warehouse operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Accounts Payable Manage and process vendor invoices in a timely manner. Maintain vendor account records and reconcile accounts payable balances. Accounts Receivable Set up new customer profiles. Generate, issue, and monitor client invoices. Manage outstanding balances, collections, and reconcile A/R for financial reporting. Budgeting and Cash Flow Develop and maintain budget forecasts and monitor variances. Generate and analyze cash flow statements to ensure financial health. Inventory Management Monitor and reconcile inventory records. Identify discrepancies and work with teams to resolve issues. Tax and Investment Management Prepare and submit monthly sales tax filings, ensuring full regulatory compliance. Track and report on company investments for senior management. Administrative Support Organize financial files and documentation. Handle administrative tasks related to accounting operations. Work cross-functionally with various departments to gather financial data. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel . Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Capable of developing and improving accounting systems and processes. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
