Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob SummarySAYN is looking to hire a Staff Accountant! The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processesReconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsAssist with the preparation of financial reports and statementsMaintain and update fixed asset schedules and depreciation entriesSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsPerform variance analysis on financial dataAssist with internal and external auditsMaintain compliance with company policies and proceduresCollaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reportingSupport special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2-4 years of accounting experienceSolid understanding of GAAPProficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickbooksStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred:
