Job Summary:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Staff Accountant to support financial operations by managing accounting tasks, tracking manufacturing costs, and ensuring accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
Perform month-end/year-end close and journal entries. Prepare financial reports and track manufacturing costs (labor, materials, overhead). Reconcile inventory and accounts, ensuring accuracy. Assist with budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing. Manage AP/AR for manufacturing-related expenses. Analyze cost variances and recommend improvements. Assist with audits and compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 2+ years of manufacturing accounting experience. Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred:
Manufacturing cost accounting or inventory management experience.
