The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to manage financial records accurately and efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity of our financial data and supporting our overall financial health. Responsibilities Manage all accounting transactions Prepare budget forecasts Publish financial statements in time Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings Reconcile accounts payable and receivable Ensure timely bank payments Compute taxes and prepare tax returns Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity Audit financial transactions and documents Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary Comply with financial policies and regulations Qualifications Must Speak English & Spanish Proven experience in general ledger accounting and familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred. Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and financial auditing practices. Proficient in Excel with the ability to analyze data effectively. Experience with payroll processing is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to interpret complex financial reports clearly and concisely. A solid understanding of financial acumen related to business operations. Knowledge of wills, trusts, and estate law is a nice-to-have but not required.
