Team! Jr. Accountant Position Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented accounting professional seeking a challenging yet rewarding role? Join our team as a Jr. Accountant, where you’ll play a pivotal role in preparing financial statements for a diverse portfolio of Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and Condominiums. We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for accuracy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.

Position Responsibilities:

Prepare, Review, and Analyze Financial Statements:

Take charge of preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements for small to medium sized HOA/Condo associations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Bank Account and Credit Card Reconciliations:

Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank accounts and credit cards to maintain accurate financial records.

Monthly Accrual Journal Entries:

Prepare monthly accrual journal entries and meticulously review general account ledgers to ensure financial integrity.

Knowledge of Cash and Accrual Method Accounting:

Demonstrate proficiency in both cash and accrual method accounting principles to effectively manage financial processes. Assist with

Audits and Tax Returns:

Collaborate with external CPAs by providing necessary documents for year-end audits and tax returns, ensuring compliance and timely submission.

Prepare Annual Association Budget:

Take part in the preparation of annual association budgets, contributing to strategic financial planning and forecasting. Other Duties as

Flexibility to undertake various tasks and responsibilities as delegated, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements:

Minimum Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. Local candidates only. 1-2 years of full-cycle accounting experience, including financial statement preparation preferred. Experience in HOA/Condo Accounting is a plus but not required.
