Revenue Recognition Accountant 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Orlando, FL 32821 What you get to do: As a Revenue Recognition Accountant , you will participate in the day-to-day accounting functions in Corporate Finance. In this position the individual will routinely work with varying levels of management at both the corporate office and the Company’s parks, including the Revenue Recognition Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant. This position will perform multiple accounting functions related to the Company’s deferred revenue and revenue recognition accounting processes, including but not limited to: Prepare deferred pass revenue models and deferred revenue account reconciliations Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, including analyzing and understanding supporting operational and financial records and accounts to ensure accuracy Ensure effective internal controls critical for timely, accurate, and efficient accounting and reporting for the Company Provide assistance to other corporate finance / accounting functions such as financial reporting, budgeting, etc. Assist in the facilitation of audit processes Special projects and other duties as assigned What it takes to succeed: Bachelor’s degree in accounting 2+ years of accounting experience Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Strong communication skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization Ability to independently complete work in a timely manner Ability to complete ad hoc projects at the request of management or auditors Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a team environment Must be proficient in Microsoft office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) What else is important: Master’s degree in accounting or related discipline preferred CPA or CPA Candidate preferred Experience in public accounting preferred Experience with SAP and Blackline preferred
