Senior Accountant Position Available In Orange, Florida

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience , is proficient with Microsoft Dynamics (D365 or GP) , and brings a strong understanding of the healthcare industry . This individual will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and providing insight into financial performance within a regulated, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Lead or assist with month-end and year-end close processes , ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Analyze financial statements and explain variances to management Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare-specific regulations Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy across financial systems Reconcile complex accounts including cash, revenue, and intercompany transactions Support budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with FP&A Assist with internal and external audits, preparing detailed documentation as needed Collaborate with departments across the organization including billing, revenue cycle, and operations Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes and internal controls Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA track preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience , ideally within the healthcare industry Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics (D365, GP, or similar) Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare financial practices Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and variance analysis Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills
