Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
• Reconcile bank statements, verify deposits, and resolve banking inquiries
• Process and validate accounts payable transactions
• Support annual audits by organizing and providing financial documentation
• File tax forms with federal, state, and local agencies
• Maintain business licenses and facility permits
• Review and process customer credit memos
• Track and manage fixed asset records for book and tax reporting
• Prepare monthly broker commission reports
• Stay current on GAAP and accounting best practices
• Assist with various accounting tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Solid understanding of GAAP and basic cost accounting principles

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
