Our growing hotel management company, based in Central Florida, is looking for a skilled Part-Time Accountant to join our team remotely, but must be centrally located to the Orlando or Merritt Island area.

About Us:

We are a dynamic and expanding hotel management company overseeing a portfolio of branded properties. We are committed to efficient financial operations and are seeking a reliable Part-Time Accountant to support our team from a remote location. This person MUST have M3 experience and a proven track record.

Responsibilities:

Assist with various accounting functions, including: Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Performing bank and credit card reconciliations. Preparing and posting journal entries. Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. Maintaining organized and accurate financial records. Support payroll processing activities. Assist with budget preparation and monitoring. Communicate effectively with internal teams and potentially hotel property staff regarding financial matters. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and company policies. Perform other accounting-related tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry. Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., M3) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote, unsupervised environment. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.

Hours:
