Praesum currently provides services to behavioral health facilities providing all levels of care from inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse detoxification, through SUD and mental health outpatient clinics.

Accountant Job Description:

The Accountant supports the Controller in the daily functions of the accounting department for Praesum Healthcare and all Affiliates. Accountant Duties include but are not limited to: Assists in preparing financial statements in accordance with all applicable accounting policies Posts receipts and disbursements to the appropriate journals Assists in month-end reconciliations Ensures all reports and information are accurate through the use of checks and balances Communicates potentials problems to managements personnel Maintain Fixed Assets schedules Bank reconciliation Manage prepaid schedules Reconcile Intercompany Accounts Month-end journal entries Assist in year-end audit Opportunity to mentor/coach junior level accounting professionals Other duties as required

Accountant Requirements:

BS in Accounting/Finance, required Basic knowledge of GAAP Demonstrates proficiency in communication & written skills Preferred Great Plains software Minimum of 3-5 year’s experience in accounting preferably in the healthcare industry
