Full-Time (100% Onsite) Are you a detail-oriented, analytical accounting professional with a passion for commercial real estate? We’re seeking a Commercial Property Accountant to join our team and play a key role in the financial management of our commercial property portfolio.
What You’ll Do:
Manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of commercial properties Prepare Monthly Bank Reconciliations Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Calculate and File Monthly Sales Tax Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Prepare CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and lease abstracts Monitor cash flow, budgets, and variance reports Coordinate with property manager and asset manager on financial matters Assist with audits and year-end reporting Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards (GAAP)
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate/property accounting Strong knowledge of Yardi, MRI, or similar property management systems Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting Commitment to following established procedures and policies
