Cost Accountant/Analyst needed in Palm Beach Gardens, FL! Job Description A global leader in life sciences is seeking a Cost Accountant/Analyst to provide timely and accurate financial insights that support data-driven decision-making and optimize spending across support functions. This role involves delivering critical financial review and analytical support across designated business units or functional areas, aiding strategic planning. Responsibilities Serve as the primary financial partner for operations, evaluating the cost impact of changes in manufacturing processes. Collaborate with Supply Chain to analyze inventory variances and develop strategies to meet financial targets. Support monthly financial reviews, including variance analysis and performance reporting. Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic financial projections. Provide financial support for daily operations and ad hoc business initiatives. Maintain and enhance financial systems used for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Support the evaluation and management of capital expenditure projects. Prepare ad hoc reports and perform special assignments as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred. 4+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including cost accounting. Minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment. CMA certification is highly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy.
