Cost Accountant Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

Cost Accountant/Analyst needed in Palm Beach Gardens, FL! Job Description A global leader in life sciences is seeking a Cost Accountant/Analyst to provide timely and accurate financial insights that support data-driven decision-making and optimize spending across support functions. This role involves delivering critical financial review and analytical support across designated business units or functional areas, aiding strategic planning. Responsibilities + Serve as the primary financial partner for operations, evaluating the cost impact of changes in manufacturing processes. + Collaborate with Supply Chain to analyze inventory variances and develop strategies to meet financial targets. + Support monthly financial reviews, including variance analysis and performance reporting. + Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic financial projections. + Provide financial support for daily operations and ad hoc business initiatives. + Maintain and enhance financial systems used for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. + Support the evaluation and management of capital expenditure projects. + Prepare ad hoc reports and perform special assignments as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred. + 4+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including cost accounting. + Minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment. + CMA certification is highly preferred. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. + Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. + High attention to detail and accuracy. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 – $47.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
