Property Accountant:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare and record amortization schedules for intangible assets such as goodwill, patents, and prepaid expenses, ensuring proper recognition in accordance with
GAAP/IFRS.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls and compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Conduct financial audits and coordinate with external auditors. Requirements of the
Senior Accountant:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
