Full Job Description Job Summary:
This role involves providing support for various accounting and administrative tasks, specifically in the property management sector. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a basic understanding of accounting principles. Month-End Closing Activities:
Help prepare financial statements, ensure the accuracy of accounting data, and support the month-end closing process. Assist in
Account Reconciliations:
Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and other balance sheet accounts as directed. Assist in
Accounts Payable:
Process invoices, manage payments, and ensure timely settlement of vendor accounts. Assist in
Banking Activities:
Prepare and make bank deposits, as well as maintain and reconcile petty cash accounts. Assist in
Various Administrative Duties:
Provide support for the accounting team in maintaining accurate records, filing documents, and handling general office tasks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.
Experience:
Previous experience in accounting or a related field is preferred but not required. Experience in the property management or real estate industry is a plus.
