This position is located in Delray Beach, FL. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days working remotely. Opportunity Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Accounting to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience working with SEC registrants and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal control environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical accounting background, experience with SAP or NetSuite, and hands-on experience with ERP system implementations. Additionally, familiarity with FloQast for close management and process automation is highly desirable. As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing accounting operations for a multi-national Company, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimizing financial processes. You will also lead and support ERP and financial system implementations and enhancements, collaborating with IT and finance teams to drive system efficiencies and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial accounting, ensuring compliance with
U.S. GAAP, SEC
regulations, and SOX requirements. Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. Work closely with internal and external auditors, managing audit requests and ensuring smooth audit processes. Oversee account reconciliations and journal entries Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. Support ERP system implementations, upgrades, and process automation to improve financial reporting and operational efficiencies. Utilize FloQast to streamline financial close processes, enhance reconciliation efficiency, and improve documentation workflows. Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering a high-performance team culture.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience working with SEC registrants and a strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls. Expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Hands-on experience with SAP or NetSuite ERP systems, including ERP system implementation and enhancements. Experience using FloQast for close process management and workflow automation. Experience working in a multi-national environment and across office locations. Experience in a publicly traded company or Big 4 accounting firm is a plus Skills & Competencies Meticulous in financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in ERP implementation projects and process optimization. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Clearly articulates financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Proactively identifies challenges and suggests effective solutions.
