Job Description
Senior Project Accountant We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Accountant to support the financial management of complex engineering and architectural projects. This role is critical in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, compliance with labor laws, and effective cost tracking. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in earned value analysis, percentage-of-completion accounting, and ERP systems tailored to the AEC industry. Responsibilities Manage the financial aspects of complex engineering and architectural projects. Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with labor laws. Track costs and perform earned value analysis. Utilize percentage-of-completion accounting methods. Operate ERP systems tailored to the AEC industry. Essential Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in project accounting within an AEC firm with revenues over $100M. Advanced Excel skills. Experience using ERP systems such as Infor, BST, Deltek, or equivalent. Expertise in revenue recognition, WIP/percentage of completion accounting, and earned value analysis (EVA). Understanding of GAAP/IFRS and labor compliance regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Infor ERP. Familiarity with multi-state labor compliance and federal contracting standards. CPA or CMA certification. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 – $50.00/hr.
