We are looking for a skilled Sr. Grant Accountant to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing grant funding, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to the success of our organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your accounting expertise within a dynamic and impactful environment.
Responsibilities:
? Manage and oversee the accounting functions related to grant funding, ensuring proper allocation and utilization.
? Monitor compliance with grant terms, conditions, and applicable financial regulations.
? Prepare detailed financial reports to track and account for grant expenditures.
? Administer and manage approximately $7 million in annual grant funding.
? Collaborate with teams to support grant-related projects and initiatives.
? Provide expertise in auditing and compliance to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
? Utilize financial software, including ERP systems, to streamline accounting processes.
? Offer insights and recommendations for effective capital and cash management.
? Maintain accurate records of cash activity and grant-related financial data.

? Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or grant management roles. ? Prior experience in non-profit organizations and grant management is highly preferred. ? Proficiency in financial software, including Bloomberg Terminal and ERP systems. ? Strong knowledge of accounting functions, auditing, and compliance standards. ? Ability to manage large-scale funding and ensure accurate financial reporting. ? Excellent organizational and project management skills. ?
