Job Description
Staff Accountant We are looking for an ambitious Junior Staff Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. Essential Functions Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded Update accounts receivable and issue invoices Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports Assist senior accountant in the preparation of month end close Assist with other accounting projects Requirements and skills Associates and/or Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field 1-2 years if Experience in the Accounting field Excellent organizing abilities Strong attention to detail Clear communication skills Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices Excellent knowledge of Excel and ERP Systems SAP, Sage, Quickbooks Full Benefits, PTO, Bonus Program, Flex All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
