We are a growing CPA firm looking for a driven individual looking to pursue a career in tax & accounting and ready to learn our industry. You will be working directly with small businesses across a variety of industries and assisting them with their tax and accounting needs.
Day to day would include:
Answering client questions / requestsMaintaining QuickBooks filesReconciling bank accountsMaintaining PayrollOpening new companiesFiling payroll & sales tax returnsPreparing financial statements etc.
Our ideal candidate must be an expert with computers, understand (or be willing to learn) the accounting equation, has experience with an complex software (such as QuickBooks), know the different tax obligations imposed on businesses, meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and possess strong communication skills.
