Construction Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant Raynor Company Group Oldsmar, FL 34677 Job Duties to
Include:
Payroll Management Review Employee Expenses Reports for Reimbursements AP & AR Weekly Bank/Credit Reconciliations & Report Disputes Journal Entries Detailed AP Entries and Batch Checks for Approval Prepare Weekly and Monthly Financial Reports Ensure Accurate Job Costing on All Projects for Contracts, Subcontracts, Change Orders and Purchase Orders Review & Audit Contracts, Invoices, Pay Applications, AIA Documents for Accuracy Review and Monitor Certificates of Insurance, Lien Waivers, Notice to Owners and work with Legal Counsel for Liens, Providing Lien Releases Provide and Update daily Project Job Cost Breakdowns Tracking of Purchase Orders and Confirmation of Delivery with Field Personnel Maintain Accurate Accounting Filing Ensure Timely Management of Accounts Receivables Working With Clients Create Statistical & Financial Spreadsheets for Vendors & Manufacturer Pricing Detailed reconciliations & reporting for year-end review Other duties as assigned
Experience & Requirements:
Construction Background a Plus! Sage Intacct software experience a plus College Degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred Advanced Knowledge of Excel Minimum of 2-3
Years Accounting Experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Attention to detail, ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and gets energy from getting things right the first time and every time Must be dependable, detail-oriented, efficient, attentive to detail with excellent follow-up skills Able to work independently with minimal supervision Skill in organizing work, defining tasks, setting priorities, working independently and following through on all projects and assignments with minimal direction. Ability to maintain strict and confidential information related to pay, personnel status and disciplinary actions. Ability to discreetly and tactfully recognize and handle sensitive and confidential information. Data processing experience with Excel using advanced Excel features is helpful
