Job Details Who We Are Looking For:
We seek aforward-thinking professional who aspires to go beyond back-officecompliance and become a trusted business advisor. This role is notonly about maintaining our high standards in tax services but alsoabout expanding into regular, proactive business consulting to helpour clients thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct first leveltechnical reviews of tax returns and workpapers for individuals,partnerships, s-corporations, trusts, and corporations, ensuringcompleteness and accuracy. Assist in managing client expectationsand be responsive to their communications/emails (24-48 hourturnaround time) and ensure all client deliverables are timely met.
Prepare federal and state income tax returns, ensuring top-qualitycompliance as part of broader business insights. Mentor and leadtax staff in both compliance and advisory capacities. Conductin-depth federal and state tax research and proactive tax planningand offer solutions. Prepare and analyze quarterly and year-endfinancial projections for clients. Support management with capacityplanning for yourself and associates you are responsible for.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s or master’s inaccounting from an accredited college or university. CPA or EAcertification preferred. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience inbusiness and individual income tax preparation/review (1120, 1120S,1065, 1040). Strong desire to transition into a consultative roleand take on management responsibilities. Proven ability to managemultiple projects and deadlines. Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and mentorstaff.
