We are seeking someone coming from a similar industrial, manufacturing, or construction setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The Staff Accountant will work closely with various departments to support financial operations and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment approvals. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to sub ledgers. Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and maintaining financial records. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets to support corporate finance initiatives. Maintain accurate accounts by recording debits and credits in accordance with established accounting practices.

Requirements:

2 years of staff accounting experience, and worked within an industrial, manufacturing or construction environment. Proven experience in general ledger reconciliation and accounts payable. Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions for data manipulation and analysis. Strong understanding of debits, credits, and overall accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively. Ability to pass a pre employment drug and background screening. Compensation is starting at $90,000 – We offer PTO and paid holidays. We currently do not offer health benefits or 401k, though we are looking into obtaining in the near future.
