The Role:
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support our financial operations. This role is crucial in ensuring our company’s financial health and compliance, providing the financial insights needed to drive our mission forward.
What You’ll Do:
Financial Management:
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner
Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly and track recurring subscription revenue and deferred revenue
Reporting:
Perform month-end and quarter-end closing processes and prepare financial reports and statements
Compliance:
Support annual tax preparation with our external CPA and document financial procedures
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow, flag potential issues, and process expense reports and employee reimbursements
You’re a
Perfect Fit If You Have:
3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks (required)
Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information
Understanding of GAAP principles
Understanding of and experience with forecasting and projections for Staff Accountant
