We’re seeking a results-driven Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional who thrives on accuracy, enjoys cross-functional teamwork, and is eager to grow within a supportive and performance-driven organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare daily journal entries to reflect operating activities.
Reconcile bank accounts and research outstanding items.
Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts.
Provide support to Client Relations, Customer Care, and Collections as it pertains to operating activities.
Perform AP functions including new vendor setup, invoice coding & creation, and preparation of weekly payment files.
AR payment posting.
Prepare daily deposits.
Prepare documentation for external auditors.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant work experience.
At least 2 years’ professional work experience in accounting.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
Strong team focus
